I’m amazed each and every day by my daughter.
The way she figures out how to push her toys or pull her wagon across the room and over carpet and tile without a single issue. Less than a year ago she could barely walk! Talk about progress.
How she babbles and strings together words to try and explain herself. She’s now using her picture book to let her Dad know when she wants milk. How smart is that!?! I’m beyond impressed. Continue reading “Everyday, all day, and forever”
5:00am – 6:00am: Wake up at some point and look around confused. I fell asleep on the couch and remember waking up a few times in my bed but I cried out for Mommy so she took me out to the couch and laid with me so I wouldn’t be afraid anymore, it’s dark and lonely at night in my room. Now I’m in bed with Daddy and Mommy is missing.
6:00am – 7:00am: I’m usually grumpy from waking up too early, closer to 5:00am, or happy because I woke up closer to 6:00am. Regardless, I’ve sat with my Gigi and drank some milk and am now roaming the house. Turns out Mommy was in the bathroom playing with her hair and putting that funny stuff on her face. The beginning is always a good place, I suppose…..
Those first few months at home when I would startled awake just to watch you sleep or to make sure you were breathing. My baby is 5 months old! Can you believe it?!?! Just yesterday I found out I was pregnant and I felt like my pregnancy took forever but now I look back and it’s a little over a year later. How can that be?
Did you know that at 5 months babies start to make this beautiful noise that sounds like “mama” and it melts your heart? They also think crawling is ridiculous and prefer to stand and try to walk but somehow always end up stepping on their own feet. And forget about balance, they’re all too drunk on milk or formula.
