Does this sound terrifying to anyone else? Continue reading “#WaldoWednesday”

What does this mean to you?

Is it a metaphor for saying hindsight is 20/20?

Is it saying that as the days come and go we don’t see the lessons but as the years pass we will?

I can’t say for sure but I do know that it causes me to ask the questions and that means something to me.

I’m so sorry I missed last week. I was so excited about my daughter’s first Thanksgiving that everything else went to the waste side.

The theme this week and hopefully for the holiday and beyond is gratitude.

It’s incredibly easy during the stress of the holiday, life and basically everything to forget how truly blessed we are in out lives. We have family, love, food, modern convenience and so much more. We have grown so used to having these things that we forget to be grateful or have gratitude for any of it.

Help me in cultivating the habit of gratitude and let us all be humble this holiday season. We can start now and continue all through the year.

I have decided that in order for me to move on from the results of the election that I need to instill and provide my own optimism. This is not the end.

I will give this man a chance to prove himself before I judge him. He has used words that have offended me but I am willing to now judge his actions moving forward. I am cautious but I must have an open mind.

Our weakness was underestimating the anger toward the new and the unknown

This couldn’t have been a more apt quote today. I am currently doing something that scares the crap out of me. I signed up for NaNoWriMo┬áthis year. I’m going to begin to write my stories. I’m going to stop putting it off because of fear and excuses.

I will not give into the fear that I will not succeed. I will grow, learn and conquer.
